Chats Café is open to residents, visitors, staff and the local community between 10.30am and 2pm on Thursday and Friday, and between 11.00am and 3.00pm on Saturday every week.
Chats is a very important space as family can take their loved ones to morning tea or lunch to celebrate special occasions and sit down for a chat. We serve fresh and toasted sandwiches, a variety of pies, salads, hot and cold drinks, plus delicious cakes and ice creams. Something for everyone! All profits raised through the café go towards purchasing items for the Home that enables residents to live more comfortably and put a smile on their faces.
If you are interested in joining our happy, dedicated group of volunteers (no experience necessary) at Chats Café and think you can spare a couple of hours each week, please get in touch!

Masonic Care Tasmania is seeking people who are willing to sit down with those who live life with us and share experiences. Pastoral Care provides opportunities to develop meaningful relationships and talk about the things in life that really matter. Everyone is welcome to apply – no church or faith background necessary – just a willingness to share with others the deeper issues of life in an open, respectful and accepting way. This is your opportunity to also develop new skills and build on your existing experience and knowledge.
