CEO update to MCT ILU's Residents
28 April, 2020

Dear valued Resident of Masonic Care Tasmania (MCT) villages,

I wanted to take this opportunity check in with you and to thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we all take active measures to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our community against COVID-19.

This includes your understanding of the requirement under the Tasmanian Governments restrictions for MCT to temporarily close the village community centres. I sincerely thank you also for your patience as we work to resolve issues that arise and as we continue with our scheduled program of works.

I was particularly delighted to hear of the success of the ANZAC Day dawn commemorations in which a number of you participated in ‘lightupthedawn’, at the end of your driveways, as we all remembered those who served and are still serving our country.

We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation on a daily basis and following the current Tasmanian Government restrictions. Please remember, we are here for you and if you are impacted by the virus or have any other questions or concerns, we will do what we can to help. If you require any additional assistance at this time, please let your village manager know so that we can ensure you have all the support you need.

And please, keep us updated should your personal circumstances change, or should you have any questions or concerns at all. You are not alone, we are all in this together, and myself and all at MCT are here to help.

Kind regards,

Jackie Howard
Chief Executive Officer
