CEO update to MCT ILU's Residents
18 May, 2020

Dear valued community members of Masonic Care Tasmania (MCT) villages,

We sincerely appreciate your support in taking active measures to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our community against COVID-19.

Roadmap to recovery
Today our community centres and libraries at Anchorage Village Hobart and the Launceston and Exeter Villages have re-open. In accordance with the Tasmanian Government Guidelines, all indoor and outdoor gatherings are restricted to 10 people only. Physical distancing requirements of 1.5 metres and a maximum of one person per 4 square metres must also be adhered to.

To keep everyone safe, and to enable contact tracing if necessary, all visitors are required to sign in and sign out of community centres at each visit. Your village manager has organised a sign in book for each area.

We are grateful for your assistance and support to implement this successfully.

We will continue to monitor and review Government Guidelines and will update you accordingly.

Keep up to date
To ensure you keep up to date with the latest health advice and Government Guidelines, we encourage you to visit https://coronavirus.tas.gov.au/families-community/roadmap-to-recovery and visit the MCT Website. We are constantly updating our Facebook page, with information for you too.

We are here for you
Please remember, if you are impacted by the virus or have any other concerns, we are here to help. If you require any additional assistance at this time, please let your village manager know so that we can ensure you have all the support you need.

And please, keep us updated should your personal circumstances change, or should you have any questions or concerns at all. You are not alone, we are all in this together, and MCT is here to help.

Kind regards,

Jackie Howard
Chief Executive Officer
