CEO update to MCT ILU's Residents
27 May, 2020
Dear valued community members of Masonic Care Tasmania (MCT) villages,
We sincerely appreciate your support in taking active measures to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our community against COVID-19.
With the easing of restrictions underway, it is important now, more than ever, that we maintain our vigilance to prevent the spread of this virus. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding at this time and thank you in advance for your cooperation as we review the opening of the Village Community Centres.
To keep us all safe, we have implemented daily cleaning at the Community Centres, have hand sanitiser and wipes available for when you visit and introduced restricted visiting hours.
The Northern Village Community Centres and the Anchorage Village Community Centre will be open from 10am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.
To enable contact tracing should we need it, all visitors are required to sign in and sign out of MCT premises at each visit and we ask that you please wipe down any exercise or activity equipment with the wipes provided after use.
Please ensure that you maintain physical distancing requirements of 1.5 metres; a maximum of one person per 4 square metres (as per the signage at your local centre); as well as no handshaking, hugging or kissing, and of course, if you feel unwell or have flu-like symptoms, please do not visit.
Keep up to date
To ensure you keep up to date with the latest health advice and Government Guidelines, we encourage you to visit https://coronavirus.tas.gov.au/families-community/roadmap-to-recovery and the MCT website – https://www.masoniccaretas.com.au/
If you require any additional assistance at this time, please let your village manager know so that we can ensure you have all the support you need.
And please, keep us updated should your personal circumstances change, or should you have any questions or concerns at all. You are not alone, we are all in this together, and MCT is here to help.
Please complete the enclosed survey to help us understand how we can support you better and drop it off in the maintenance request box by Friday 5 June 2020.
