Update on COVID-19 outbreak (Fred French)
6 April, 2022

Dear Valued Residents, Families and Advocates,

Following yesterday’s PCR Resident testing regime of Punchbowl and Wentworth, I am pleased to advise that no additional Residents have tested positive for Covid-19.

Further to Public Health Guidance today, as a precaution we have been advised to complete another round of PCR testing for Residents in the Punchbowl and Wentworth areas on Friday 8 April 2022. During this time and until we received the results, we do ask that all Residents remain in their rooms.

For those visiting loved ones in the Punchbowl and Wentworth area, visits will be restricted to the Resident’s one nominated visitor.

For those visiting loved ones in all other areas of the home, there are no restrictions in place for visiting.

All visitors are required to complete a RAT test on arrival, wear a N95 mask and eye protection and demonstrate good hand hygiene and social distancing.

I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through what is a rapidly changing situation. The health and wellbeing of our Residents and Staff is our priority, and we appreciate your assistance with this.

Yours sincerely
