21 March, 2022

 21 March 2022

Dear Valued Residents, Families and Advocates

RE: Fred French Covid19 Outbreak Management Update

I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together with Tasmania Public Health in response to the two Residents testing positive for Covid-19 at Fred French Home.

As a precautionary measure, this afternoon we have been advised by Public Health to undertake PCR testing for all Residents tomorrow, Tuesday 22 March 2022. In addition to this, staff have commenced wearing full PPE.

While we undertake the PCR testing, we request that visitors postpone any visits to Fred French and we will keep you up to date with further information about the results of testing regime once it is complete.

The health and wellbeing of our Residents and Staff is our priority, and we appreciate your assistance with this.

We know that this is a worrying time and we will do what we can to continue to keep our residents, families and staff informed of any updates.

We are committed to ensuring that families remain aware of the situation and can continue to stay in contact with their loved one.

To assist with any queries or to make a time to connect with your loved one, please contact Fred French home on 6345 7100, or alternatively please email helpline@mctas.org.au .

Yours sincerely
