Letter to Community Clients & MCT Village Residents
28 October, 2020

Dear valued Community Clients and Residents of Masonic Care Tasmania (MCT) Villages,

RE: COVID-19 Update – Changes to Tasmanian border restrictions.

As you will be aware, Tasmania’s border restrictions changed as of Monday 26 October 2020. From this date, areas are assessed as either COVID-19 low risk (currently Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory & New Zealand), medium risk (currently New South Wales) or high risk (currently Victoria) areas.

With the change of these border restrictions, it is important now, more than ever, that we maintain:

  • good hand hygiene and sign in/out at shared MCT premises;
  • physical distancing of 1.5m at all times to stop the virus travelling to you; and
  • staying home if unwell and report any symptoms immediately to protect others.

Following these guidelines will help us to keep our fellow residents, community and staff safe.

I sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these changes together.

Yours sincerely,

Jackie Howard
