Covid-19 Outbreak Management Update (Fred French)
23 March, 2022

Dear Valued Residents, Families and Advocates

RE: Fred French Covid19 Outbreak Management Update

I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work together with Tasmania Public Health in response to the Residents testing positive to Covid-19 at Fred French Home.

Prior to the PCR testing regime yesterday, we received confirmation of an additional two Residents testing positive to Covid-19, with a total of 4 Residents testing positive in the Elphin area.

Unfortunately, we have not received the results from yesterday’s testing sweep, however as a precautionary measure, this afternoon we have been advised by Public Health to undertake PCR testing for all Residents again tomorrow, Thursday 23 March 2022.

While we undertake the PCR testing, we request that visitors postpone any visits to Fred French and we will keep you up to date with further information about the results of testing regime once it is complete.

The health and wellbeing of our Residents and Staff is our priority, and we appreciate your assistance with this.

The Fred French Leisure and Lifestyle team are working closely with Residents and Families to ensure that families can continue to stay in contact with their loved one. To assist with any queries or to make a time to connect with your loved one, please contact Fred French home on 6345 7100.

Yours sincerely
